ABOUT US

I was privileged to be the first Optical and Mechanical Instrument Technician for WILD HEERBRUGG (UK) based in Chatham, Kent.

My apprenticeship days with WILD Heerbrugg (UK) started in July 1972.

I was under the supervision of Service Manager, Joe Schindele. During this time, I was trained by Engineers from the Swiss factory, namely Peter Zurcher, Norbert Lammer, and Hans Frei. Another Engineer Specialist, Ron Double, was one of the most experienced Engineers who guided me through my apprenticeship days and assisted in my workshop right to this day.

After 17 years with them, the company moved to Milton Keynes, and is now known as Leica Geosystems. Being unable to move with them, I decided to go self-employed and carry on repairing and servicing surveying instruments.

We have been privileged to carry out repairs and services of survey equipment for many Survey, Construction, and Civil Engineering companies. We also provide repair services for distributors, dealers and authorised agents who undertake survey instrument repairs.
